Hello peeps!
So, birthday planning is still in full effect!!
After a long four weeks, we are now getting to the wire, with less than a month left!!! EEK!
At this point, I like to figure out the invitations, since I should be handing them out in the next few weeks... if I were responsible and not a total procrastinator...
Well, if you saw my post on party printables here, you know that my one-stop for all my party goods is definitely Scribbles. So, my sister and I collaborated and this is what she sent me:
Umm, ya- AMAZING!! I didn't think it could get any better than this- I was totally in love... Until, a couple minutes later she sent another email with the attached message:
"just messing around and thought I would try it in chalkboard, too!"
HOLY MOLY! Just when you think you couldn't possibly love something more, they go and totally out-do themselves!
So, drumroll please, here is the final result:
Isn't she FABULOUS!!??? I couldn't have dreamed up a better invite, let alone make one! I was over-the-moon excited and ready to get my party on!
Once I had lined out all of the details, sat down with my soon-to-be-3-year-old and devised a guest list, and poured over pinterest pictures, I decided I needed some inserts.
If you know me, you know that I hate LOATHE clutter. And birthday parties typically bring with them tons and tons of un-needed toys. I always try and find some clever way to get around the gift-giving aspect- Just come and enjoy the day with my son! So, this time, I thought WHITE ELEPHANT would go along with the theme and be perfect- this way everyone goes home with a toy and we can all ditch an already-loved masterpiece hidden away in our toy rooms! SCORE!
Next step, consult the paper magician, and this my friends, is where the magic continues!
But, why stop there, right?! Lol- I decided to add 2 more informative and fun inserts to really bring home the circus feel!
Really, I could not be happier with the final result! Top it off with a cute picture of my son (in case the guest forgot who boston was, huh) And, VIOLA!
Admit one happy mom who now has cramped fingers AND the cutest invite EVER for her son! Along with a list of invites.
Check and check!
We are well on our way! Circus party here we come!!
